Salary: £26,500 – £33,150 a year
We are on the lookout for an attentive Warehouse Manager to join our awarding-winning team. This individual needs to be an organised and driven person to join us here at team Vital to take control and manage our warehouse.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse, goods-in, organising, taking control of the Engineer’s requirements and processing returns from the warehouse and sites. Delivering to sites to make deliveries and collect returns is also a requirement.
The successful candidate must have knowledge of plumbing fittings & hardware and must have a full clean UK Driver’s Licence, and be aged 25+ for vehicle insurance purposes.
Main duties and key responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager:
- Knowledge of plumbing fittings and hardware is essential
- Organising the Warehouse
- Housekeeping of Warehouse
- Coordinating & picking orders for delivery to various sites
- Maintaining Health & Safety
- Handling goods-in, whether this be small parcels to large pallets
- General labouring duties including on-site (s), when needed
- Assist with site tidiness when required
- And any other ad-hoc warehouse duties
As the Warehouse Manager you will be expected to be:
- Capable of managing & adapting to fluid & changing priority workloads
- Smart, polite and focused on providing a flawless service
- Positive, proactive, reactive and dependable team player
- Experienced in Manual Handling and have knowledge of working in a warehouse
- Forge close working relationships, with both the Office Support staff and Engineers
