Enter the Marquee Classes

The Marquee Classes are open to all ages and offer something for everyone. From poetry and photography to handmade crafts and baking, these entries showcase the creativity of the local community. This year’s classes include:

Photo entries, poems, and handmade cards
Homemade bakes such as brownies, scones, and Victoria sponge
Crafts with themes around bees, recycling, and King Charles III’s birthday
Fun categories for school-aged children and pre-schoolers

Entries must be submitted between 9.00am and 11.00am and collected after 5.00pm. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each class. Special honours include the Valerie Jackson Cup for Best Junior Entry and the Richard Austin Cup for the Best Marquee Entry overall.

Donate to the Tombola

The Field Day tombola is always a favourite, drawing huge crowds throughout the afternoon. To make it a success, we’re asking for donations of prizes. These could be anything from bottles and chocolates to toys and small household items.

If you’d like to contribute, please place your donated item in the metal bin at the rear of 4 Church Street. Every prize helps raise funds to support the running of the event.

Attend the Saturday Night Kids’ Disco

This year, the celebrations continue into the evening with a special Kids’ Disco in the Marquee.

Date: Saturday 21 June
Time: From 6.00pm
Location: The Field Day Marquee
DJ: Becky B will be playing family favourites all evening
Entry: By donation at the door
Food and drink: Bar and refreshments will be available for both adults and children
Please note: All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult

It’s a great way to end the day and keep the community spirit going strong into the evening.

The Ribchester Field Day raffle is one of the key fundraisers for the event. Thanks to generous local donors, the prizes on offer this year include:
