At Vital Heating Solutions, we’re seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Director of Business Transformation to lead strategic change across our organisation, with a particular focus on operational efficiency, systems innovation, and sustainable service delivery.
In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to identify and implement transformative initiatives that improve performance, enhance customer experience, and support long-term growth. You’ll lead cross-functional projects, streamline processes, and ensure alignment between business goals and operational execution.
We operate across the North West, serving a diverse client base including homeowners, landlords, and property management companies. This role will be instrumental in elevating our systems, people, and service standards as we scale and evolve.

The Director of Business Transformation will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage the Marketing and Sales teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and performance targets.
- Oversee external partnerships and identify new business development opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
- Review, develop, and implement strategies to scale the company from a medium-sized to a large enterprise.
- Act as a strategic partner to the leadership team, bringing fresh, forward-thinking ideas to support long-term business transformation.
- Analyse market trends and customer insights to shape effective sales and marketing campaigns.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance across commercial teams.
- Evaluate and streamline internal processes to improve efficiency, reduce operational friction, and support scalable growth.
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and industry partners.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure commercial targets are met or exceeded.
- Champion continuous improvement, ensuring the business remains agile, dynamic, and ahead of industry trends.
Location & Hours:
This is a hybrid role that offers flexibility — you’ll be expected to attend events and site visits, work from home when appropriate, and spend time in the office to collaborate with the team and support business operation
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in leading business transformation, ideally within a growing SME or fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, and develop high-performing sales and marketing teams.
- Commercially astute with a track record of driving business development and forming successful external partnerships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse the bigger picture while managing day-to-day operational improvements.
- Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels — from internal teams to industry partners.
- Forward-thinking and dynamic, always looking for innovative ways to streamline processes and improve performance.
- Experience in scaling a business, with a clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in moving from medium to large enterprise.
- Comfortable with a hybrid working model — flexible to attend events, site visits, work remotely, and collaborate in the office.
- Excellent project management and change leadership skills, with the ability to deliver results to tight deadlines.
