Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Manager based in Burnley, with the potential to transition into a hybrid position. The Electrical Manager will be responsible for overseeing all electrical works across projects, managing a team of Electrical Engineers, and ensuring installations are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with project stakeholders, technical planning, and hands-on leadership to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Electrical Engineers across multiple sites
  • Oversee all aspects of electrical installations and commissioning
  • Interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to plan intelligent system layouts
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance
  • Liaise with clients, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support the development of case studies
  • Support training and development of team members, including NVQ progression

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electrical installation and team leadership
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Holds a valid CSCS card and consistently upholds health and safety procedures
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills
  • NVQ qualifications in Electrical Installation are desirable (we invest in these after probation)
  • Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK

Location & Hours

  • Projects primarily across the North West
  • Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required
  • Flexibility to work both day and twilight shifts
  • Twilight shifts run four nights a week, 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, giving you Fridays off for a long weekend
