Well, here at Vital Heating Solutions we are on the lookout for self-motivated and proactive Renewable Engineers – we are looking for people who are attentive and passionate about what they want to do. The successful Mechanical Renewables Engineer will be responsible for the installation of Heat Pumps; as well as Commercial Plant Rooms, Heating Ventilation & Cooling Systems (HVAC) Underfloor Heating, LPG and so much more.
We work with various prestigious and commercial clientele across the North West; our contracts cover facilities inclusive of education, medical, leisure and commercial sectors. This role will predominantly cover installation, service and maintenance for commercial heating systems and associated pipework.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out various calculations and feasibility studies (heat loss, building emissions, energy usage) and for the schematic production and design of things such as renewable power generation and heating systems. The successful Mechanical Renewables Engineer will be responsible for:
– Site surveys, feasibility studies, energy calculations and emission studies
– Design and schematic production for renewable energy & heating systems
– Planning and supervising installations in both new build and existing properties
– Reviewing CAD drawings and 3D models
– Communicating closely with clients and architects to provide consultancy services
– Knowledge of carrying out energy use/emissions/feasibility studies for buildings
