As a Duct Fitter, you will be responsible for:

• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings to plan duct layouts.
• Fabricating, cutting, and assembling ductwork to exact measurements.
• Installing and remediating fire dampers, kitchen extract systems, and fan units.
• Producing clear, hand-drawn schematics for bespoke installations.
• Carrying out ductwork leakage testing to verify performance.
• Undertaking general building tasks like site preparation and fixing brackets.
• Using your initiative and experience to troubleshoot on-site problems.
• Collaborating with colleagues and clients to meet project deadlines.

Location & Hours:

• You will work on projects primarily across the North West.
• The role may occasionally require travel and overnight stays.
• You must be flexible to work both day and twilight shifts.
• Twilight shifts run four nights a week, from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM. This gives you Fridays off and an excellent chance for a long weekend.
